After 25 years at our great location we are happy Jason, owner of Philly Cheesesteaks, will be taking care of our spot and Laureen, owner of Wren & Willow, will be taking care of our lamps. Three small businesses working together is a dream come true.

Beware of Lucy, the lamp shop greeter doodle. She takes her job seriously and greets everyone with a smile and a wagging tail. All lamps have survived that wagging tail, even when she has other four footed friends visiting. Big news developing about our lamp shop, more information soon.

Saturdays are crazy busy in the shop - thanks for everyone's patience. Avoid the wait time and visit us earlier in the week. Shop hours are Wednesday - Saturday and we are happy to make appointments. New owner of our property needs us out by February 29, 2020 - Leap Day. See you soon. We are working on other exciting news, more as it develops.

We are retiring because we sold our property to Jason. Our feelings are mixed as we will miss our lamp shop and our wonderful customers but know our great location is going to a super person. Thanks for the memories! Stop in and see us as before February 29, 2020. Leap Day is our last day and everything needs to be cleared out. Yikes after 25 years at this location, the last 10 years as a lamp shop have been by far the most fun. We will dearly miss our friends who would just stop by to say hello. 50% off everything - visit us soon for the best selection.

The very rare Aladdin finial made in 1934 is called Miss Ophelia or Optic Ball. It was a fun day in the shop when a customer brought his clear Optic Ball to the shop to compare it to the frost one we have (NFS - sorry!). This finial comes in two heights: 2 1/2" and 2 5/16 and comes only on the #1 Base. The brass base shows a different patina due to the different environments the finials were in. Collectors pay $450 to $500 for these finials, if they are lucky enough to find a willing seller.
