Old Glory Antiques & Vintage is now hiring for a part time sales associate. Must be willing to work 18 -25 hours per week, more hours during holidays. Knowledge and interest for antiques & vintage is a plus. Minimum wage to start. Please drop off your resume and cover letter to Old Glory 2000 Main Street, Vancouver, WA 98660. Job Description: Properly packing breakable and non-breakable items.... Handle goods and equipment properly to avoid damage or breakage. Maintain good housekeeping around workstation by sweeping, keeping work supplies stocked and stacking items neatly and safely. Light cleaning, vacuuming and dusting. Perform basic arithmetic calculations including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 1 year of related retail experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Excellent customer service skills. Read and write English proficiently. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with diverse group of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds. Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than one’s own, able to work effectively with all. Follow workplace quality and safety standards and contribute to a culture of safety. Receptive to feedback, willing to learn and embrace continuous improvement. Strive for high customer satisfaction, going out of the way to be helpful and pleasant. Ability to work evening and weekend shifts. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
