Thank you so much to all of you who supported our kids in their small business endeavor yesterday at Funky Junk! They are always thrilled when the projects they put time into pay off with some cash in their banks! They gave a part of their earnings at church this morning, and the rest they are making strategic plans for. I’ve heard talk of saving up and pooling their funds for a four-wheeler.
On South Durbin St until 5 today!
Levi came home in time to help me finish up our pumpkin faces. They’re headed to Funky Junk tomorrow!
These and more are hopping on the trailer for Funky Junk on Saturday! 10-5 on S Durbin in Casper.
Two very different upholstered stools - both headed to Funky Junk on Saturday in Casper! Which one speaks to you more?
Had to borrow some kids since ours are still gone! These three fellow homeschoolers helped make the cutest little mini block pumpkins this morning. Acrylics 139
This week we’re working on Funky Junk! Lots of reclaimed and restored projects are coming together for Saturday’s event on South Durbin St in Casper.
This custom pink set in a subtle blush pink shimmer from Greenhouse Fabrics are finally ready to head back home! They did have a channel back style, which we changed to a smooth back, and they needed spring work in the seats in addition to all new foam to build the seats back to where they need to be. Once again, nailhead tacks for the win to set off the pretty curvy details.
For some reason the inside back on this chair challenged me way more than it should have, but it looks perfect now! Hopefully the second one is not so difficult.
We went with friends to Sheridan for Don King Days, and this morning before heading back to Casper we toured the Trails End State Historic Site. My phone died part-way through, but the old furniture, fixtures, woodwork and tiling had me all .
This morning Scott and I were able to check this custom cedar A/C unit screen off our list! A few design quirks - it had to suspend from the rafters above, have a hinged panel for access, plenty of ventilation and a frame to withstand the wind at the foot of the mountain. Oh, and be pretty!
One of my favorite combinations - pretty florals, a touch of rustic in the burlap and a pop of color on the trim!
Going green today finishing up a set of dining seats.
Monday... cracking down and getting these chair frames some new foam so I can get them put back together!
