Vintage shop - Antiques Boutique in Baddeck, Nova Scotia

Ok so I boobed! Whilst driving home from an estate sale I must have hit a bump in the road a little too hard (& couldn't have wrapped these beautiful duos very well) so they ended up with tiny hairlines on the Shelleys & a tiny chip on the rim of the Belleek UGH! But... as I'm a professional restorer I have managed to save them! The hairlines have been stabilized with museum grade glue & the Belleek chip has had a tiny colour fill - which is very good if I may say so myself & you can hardly see it :) So these are cabinet duos / display pieces / fillers & priced accordingly. $22 each! Message me if interested before Cora-Lee gets her hands on them & lists them in the Etsy shop!

Soooo I came across this weird & wonderful necklace, made of tiny tiny beads... what does it remind you of??! Yup various strains of Covid 19! Its 20" total length & the fastener is a knot of beads that goes through a beaded loop. Utterly fantastic! I'm going to sell this for a dog I am helping in Dominican Republic, now called Jack, who has been badly hurt with a machete & desperately needs vet treatment. (see my timeline for more info). I'm asking $30 but if you'd like to pay more - thats fine! QUESTION... Is it too early to put up Christmas decorations in the shop? We could all do with some cheer right now so I'm thinking outdoor lights & a few baubles in the window. Normally I'm a 'wait til 1st December' type of gal. The village Christmas parade is 28th Nov. So waddaya think? Yay or Nay??
